PHLINC2: Language and Other Minds, the second-biannual interdisciplinary research symposium, will be held on February 14-15, 2014. The topic of this iteration of the symposium is attitudes and attitude ascriptions, with a special emphasis on knowledge ascription and related phenomena such as presupposition, factivity and evidentiality. PHLINC2 will include invited talks from Mandy Simons (Carnegie Mellon University) and Jason Stanley (Yale University), as well as a special session on experimental issues in this domain, led by Shevaun Lewis (Johns Hopkins University).
